The biggest problem with Gordon Brown was that he genuinely believed he was helping us. He even told Parliament that his administration had “saved the world”. And I fear that some of this God complex may have been transmitted to Nikki Sinclaire, a member of the European Parliament. She was elected as a UKIP politician but since then has caused that party nothing but headaches.
In October, she launched a new anti-EU political party. She should perhaps read up on Rosser Reeves, the American advertising guru who invented the concept of a ‘unique selling proposition’. Her party doesn’t have one, so it will sink without trace.
